Holt's mesmerizing photographs capture the exotic forms of succulents in the landscape and show them as ground covers, container plants, and green roof and rock garden features. Kelaidis's enthusiasm for these magnificent plants and the texture they bring to gardens is apparent as she details the charms of hens-and-chicks, cactus, ice plants, sedums, yuccas, and others in an authoritative and encouraging voice.
