Narrator Dion Graham has the clear diction and steady pacing that makes listening to this information about wildfires a pleasure. His voice is full of interest in the topic. Do you know the components of a "fire triangle" or who comprise "hotshot crews"? Or why a bobcat might race to the edge of a wildfire? Can you name the three types of wildfires and the tools needed to fight them? Given that the information is shared through text, captions, and text boxes, it's helpful that this is a read-along. Graham uses pauses to differentiate sections and with the book in hand, listeners can focus on each part. A quiz and a glossary complete the production. A.R. © AudioFile 2018, Portland, Maine
